You invited to join us at our fundraiser event “United for Ursula” in honour of one Senior Stage-Side Members on Sunday 27th August, 2017 at WITCO’s Sports Club, First Street, Champ Fleurs from 12:00 noon to 09:00 pm.
Ms. Ursula Tudor, one of our orchestra's most senior members, was involved in a vehicular accident on August 1, 2017. As a result, she was hospitalised with injuries to her right fore arm and left leg and consequently, underwent surgery on August 15, 2017.
Given her long-standing commitment as a stage side musician with Desperadoes, as well as her influence in paving the way for young women to participate and become members in the steelpan fraternity, the Executive will be hosting a fund raiser in her honour on to raise funds as a financial contribution towards her post-surgery expenses.
Apart from Desperadoes, a number of our country's most creative and versatile orchestras, instrumentalists and vocalists have committed to performing. Some of these include Laventille Serenaders, Massy Trinidad All Stars, First Citizens Supernovas,Len 'Boogsie Sharpe, Ken "Professor" Philmore and others.
