Join North London’s Pan Nation Steel Orchestra this Saturday for their annual Blockorama Steel Band Extravaganza.

The event, now in its third year, showcases the talent and flair from local and other well established steel pan orchestras.
This year, Ebony Steelband (aka early pioneers of UK pan playing, European Champions and Intercontinental title holders) will make their debut, playing alongside favourites Croydon Steel Band and London Allstars.
The band, featuring young people aged 15-25 is led by Tottenham’s own Chris
Storey, affectionately known as “Pan Daddy” – an amazing and talented composer
who rose under Haringey’s scheme to introduce steel pan playing across schools
in the borough since the 1980s.
With its fun and welcoming nature, pan music attracts a diverse mix of
players and fans, so expect a blend of traditional soca and reggae riddims and
contemporary pop and RnB. One thing’s for sure, there won’t be a still foot in
