  • T&T 50 years still has many chapters to go before the final one, but the Nation's watchwords bear as much import as it did at it's birth.  Discipline, Tolerance and Production.  Crime & Corruption continues to be a plague and scourge and we must not give up on finding solutions.  As for the Panorama Extravaganza, the experience continues to be one of the most enjoyable parts of my Carnival celebrations which I always look forward to.  But imho, I also do not think the Steelpan Movement is where it could or should be.  To know where we are heading, we have to know where we are in relation to where we come from.  The debates about what to do with Panorama continues to rage on, but we have to become even more introspective by giving retrospective a closer look instead of being so quick to resort to being so invective.  Why because after a half-century of Panorama still, Pan in Danger - Merchant...
