And the jackassness continues, well done well done is this organization still being called: the world governing body for the steelband? Well I am now starting to feel ashamed [bugs: note the choice of this word] to be considered ah member of this thing call steelband! I know all organization does have their problems financial and otherwise but it does be dealt with in such ah professional manner most people don't even know when it is solved, but not pan, every week is ah different can of worms being opened in the full view of the world as though some of us cannot see ah Mike or ah camera lens, I only hope the more right thinking minds and brains stay clear of this dogfight and get ready to put their hat in the ring because those who are pouring gas in the flames they to have to be watched with an eagle eye.
They are putting the organization into disrepute!!!

The post above and this post are the two best POSTINGS I have read in a LONG TIME.
I think it just may be that too much of an issue has been made about money - panorama checks , corruption etc. , and not enough about the general incompetence of Pan Trinbago.
When all is said and done , most of the players are amateurs , (like I was ) playing for the love of the art-form , and the panorama check , while obviously desired , is not enough to get them sufficiently worked up to clamor for change.
To achieve their goals, those advocating change will have to show a concise plan for advancing the art-form into the future, capable of exciting the players, and stirring them to action.
That small panorama check is not enough .
And a word of advice.
We Trinidadians tend to be long winded , and sometimes we get boring.
The plan presented to the members of the various steelbands should be as brief , simple and straightforward as possible.
Leave the complex details for later.
Politicians know the value of the KISS principle.
It is why the most impactful political slogans are those that fit on a bumper sticker.
So , initially , an brief outline of a new direction would be best , though further information should be available for those seeking more detail.
Even if we're dealing with people with PHDs abd BSs , simple is best.
BTW the KISS principle is "Keep It Simple , Stupid" !
