Despite opening up a big early lead and gaining tremendous support over in TRINIDAD, Beverley's campaign for PRESIDENT OF PANTRINBAGO is destined to COME UP SHORT by a few votes!!!
My biggest question is: What will BEVERLEY DO after the election? Will she just disappear and return again in 3 years as a presidential candidate, or will she take an active role in PAN PROGRESS in THE MECCA over the next three years?
If my team wins I will ask them to give her an APPOINTMENT in the NEW CABINET. I really think that she wants to HELP PAN move forward -- she just has to be plugged in to the right role.
Now there is always recrimination in the political camp after a heart-breaking loss like this. And fingers will get pointed in EVERY DIRECTION. But I think that I have identified the weaknesses in the campaign.
First of all (ah doh know which one to put first and which one to put second) her INTERNET CAMPAIGN TEAM (headed by bugs and Cecil and odw) was WEAK. They offered support, but they failed to come on THIS FORUM and praise BEVERLEY on a DAILY BASIS. And the team members (bugs, odw, Cecil) never fed off each other like the warriors basketball team does passing the ball (praise and propaganda in this case) around. And they never SOLD BEVERLEY in BOLD TERMS. That WOMAN IS BOSS slogan is passé. I could go on and on spanking that INTERNET CAMPAIGN TEAM but them is meh three pardners on THIS FORUM so I better ease up!!!
Second of all, CHOOSING DENISE as the GROUND CAMPAIGN MANAGER was a colossal error. This is the PAN WORLD in TRINIDAD and TOBAGO and you need a MAN in that position. You take a piece of paper and make a LIST OF PROMISES and you give the MAN $10,000 and you send the MAN to all them PAN YARDS with cases of BEER and SOME BOTTLES OF RUM and let THAT MAN deliver your message while he LIMING and DRINKING with the BAND LEADER and DELEGATES. Allyuh get the picture. You cannot hire a WOMAN for that job until about 2060 (that is what the artiste lady said but nobody eh listen to she except me).
Finally, BEVERLEY failed to project an ELECTION PERSONA!!! Allyuh would be surprised how important that is. That is mostly why HILLARY lost the last election. And Marco Rubio had the same problem!!! MANNING, CLINTON, OBAMA, TRUMP -- ah give them fellahs HIGH MARKS in that area. If Beverley wants I could work with her in preparation for the 2021 election.
Well, ah said "finally" already!!! But like a TRUE TRINI ah have to throw this in: Had Beverley reached out to me early in her CAMPAIGN, I could have helped her win -- REAL EASY!!! Especially with all the MARK THAT BUS along the road in the last week or so.

Where does BEVERLEY land among these archetypes? The candidate's true persona blends their personality with their core ideologies. You may identify more than one archetype at play in each candidate, but one persona is always dominant.
BEVERLEY needs to DEFINE (and REFINE) that ONE PERSONA extremely clearly if she wants to PLAY THE GAME OF POLITICS!!!
