Nice to see. Can you imagine what would be the cost of a costume if we were still using those whole costumes. That would be way out of pocket. Bras and beads cost a lot less.
I was 8 years old living on Oxford street opposite St Ann's Church of Scotland. carnival was great in those days. The corner of Charlotte Street and Oxford street was my vantage point. 2 years later we were all running for our lives as San Juan All Stars clashed with Despers. But this never dented my ambition to "beat" pan and play 'mas.
