With all due respect, this is what I hope the future is NOT like, everything about this is depressing, look at the people, do they look like they are enjoying themselves? this is a poor image of what the STEELBAND has to offer, and it is what we are giving the young people. All the power brokers in the Steelband movement need to go back and look at how the Steelbands presented themselves in the 60s and see what a BOMB was, it' the only way the steelband can survive, FIND A WAY TO PUT THE PANS BACK ON THE GROUND and see what a difference it makes, put the pans on the ground with the people.

Cecil: the pans are already on the ground with the people for Panorama Prelims, Semi Finals, and Finals. So tell us who will put the Pans back on the ground for Carnival ? Pantrinbago, Pan pushers, Winston Gypsy Peters in charge of the NCC or the Steelbands themselves.

earl richards, Money can put pan on the ground, a Steelband Street Party Carnival Monday afternoon with a bomb competition for the same prize as Panorama down Fredrick St. around Woodford Sq. All I'm suggesting here is 8/9 hours on the road away from the DJs. Sponsors will support this because of what the Steelband is to the Culture of T&T., All that's needed is a few good people to make the proposal.
Cecil: We know you love your Culture(Pan Mas and Calypso) and you want what is best for Pan in the Mecca both locally and globally, who ever are the new leaders of Pantrinbago, I hope they live up to your expectations and remember the long time saying the longest rope have an end.
