Financial impropriety and incompetence have become synonymous with the current executive of Pan Trinbago.
Pan Players United Movement and a wide Cross section of Members of Pntrinbago have mobilized to correct these problems, we have taken the title "Concerned Pan Lovers".
As such Concerned Pan Lovers is calling on Pan Trinbago President Keith Diaz and his executive to immediately step down.
Despite the continued disrepect shown to the membership by Pan Trinbago, steel bands from across Trinidad and Tobago participated in this year's Panorama competition. The decision was made following a promise by the current executive that they would vacate office and facilitate for new leadership in the organisation. To date this has not been done and new evidence of corrupt activities within the executive has arisen.
Concerned Pan Lovers met on Tuesday to discuss these latest developments and there was a unanimous decision that the executive must immediately resign. In the upcoming weeks we will be outlining the specific charges against the current Pan Trinbago executive.
We ask the population to stand with us against this type of wrongdoing and mismanagement which eats at the soul of a nation.
Pan music is indeed the heartbeat of our Nation.

What forensic audit? What charges? What court? What jail?
PANORAMA DONE!!! Everybody bored!!! So man looking for OLE TALK!!!
People killing, robbing, home-invading, kidnapping (at least two women and young girls a week) -- and no police eh see!!!
Racially motivated killings, willful destruction of businesses, criminal gangs crisscrossing the land with government and police backing -- and everybody either silent or living in fear of reprisal if they open their mouth.
But somehow KEITH DIAZ is the biggest CRIMINAL on the island and he will be locked up and put in PRISON. Which police locking up KEITH DIAZ?
Furthermore, if you see the list of replacements in the AFTER KEITH DIAZ RESIGN DREAM -- is the same old alligators swimming around the PAN TRINBAGO SWAMP looking to EXPLOIT the PAN PLAYERS.
Bereft of any PROGRESSIVE IDEAS -- focused only on how to RUN PANORAMA.
Only the members of Pan Trinbago can request such a move. The members of Pan Trinbago are the steel bands who are actual members and pay a fee for such membership. Not even the human members of bands are members of Pan Trinbago. Two members of each member band of Pan Trinbago can represent the band member at meetings of Pan Trinbago.
Unless you guys do things intelligently you make yourself look small. A "Concerned Pan Lovers" made up of individuals do not have that legal right. Even if you have money and take it to caught it will simply be turned down by the court because you are outsiders and not actual members of Pan Trinbago.
Now if you want to really do something is that all the 'concerned groups" which are mostly made up by pan players of steel bands can solicit your steel bands being actual members from Pan Trinbago to resign from Pan Trinbago, thus bringing the organization to a halt until the present membership resigns. But even that may not be again necessary as the Government of T&T requested a Forensic Audit on the organization. A Forensic Audit is not to be confused with a normal Audit requested by an organization annually. The Forensic Audit is much deeper and involves deeper traces even if it requires Police support and other Governmental agencies. It is a complete "Dig Up" of all the sources of income. and all documents past and present to be traced back from its origins etc etc Same with all expenses and investments. In other words the Auditors in a forensic investigation do not take the information simply from the management view point and then write up an Audit Report whether qualified or unqualified. That information is also requested by outsiders all over the world if possible. If the information is not obtained, then it becomes a legal issue to be solved in a Court of law. The government can then charge them for corruption and other misrepresentations etc. It will be for the organization to then prove otherwise. So that process must be allowed to take place.
So I suggest to " Concerned Pan Lovers" and other such put together organizations, is to allow the Government to carry out their investigations into Pan Trinbago. After all it is the Government who give the organization their legal status through an Act of Parliament and it is they who fund the millions over the years to Pan Trinbago. The member pan bands have not funded that level of monies, nor pan players nor any one else. It is therefore the right of the Government after the Forensic Audit to make a decision of what to do with Pan Trinbago or its Executive concerning financial and other issues coming out of the Forensic Audit. As it is now no one really can ask the Executive to quit office. As a matter of fact they should remain there to answer the charges laid against them. It is now to late for any thing else.

And what makes "Concerned Pan Lovers" believe that all they have to do is CALL on Keith Diaz to step down and he will step down?
