The executive of Pan Trinbago Inc. TC, wish to advice its members, that no official communication was sent out in relations to a date for Nomination Day for election of officers to the Central Executive.
The Extraordinary General Meeting called, on Thursday August 23 2018, at the Communications Workers Union Hall, Henry Street, Port of Spain, where this matter would have been a part of the agenda, was aborted due to the lack of a quorum, and no date was given by the president to reconvene.
Also the extension of the Nomination Date to Wednesday, August 29, is erroneous as the president is out of the country, and the secretary and other executive members are unaware of the source of such information.
Members are to be informed that no executive meeting was held to determine a date for elections, as a letter was written to the chairman of our investment company – PANVESCO – for financial assistance to pay the Auditors outstanding bills, so that an Audit can be completed in time for the 2018 Triennial Special Conference, where a President, Secretary, Treasurer and Audit financial reports are presented to the membership for ratification, before a Returning Officer is asked to declare all seats vacant for an election of officers for the new term.
Remember that our constitution and bye laws are the hallmark of our existence, and until that is amended or changed we must abide by instructions to the letter.
The President has left the country for the third time this year, without informing the executive, or the membership whom he had audience with the day before, or selected anyone to act in his absence, showing total disrespect and contempt for his pairs. However, he has left instructions with the treasurer to pursue a drawdown from the NCC of $412,316.30, to pay the salaries of staff, which will be deducted from an already dwindling 2018 subvention, making it even more difficult to pay Prize money and Players remittance for 2018.
The members of the Central Executive have express its disagreement with this approach in light of the fact that there are other avenues to pursue for such funds to satisfy some of our debts. But he is quite contended, signing away our rights to the NCC for a airplane ride to good old England.

This is as a result of this Executive reporting to the 2016 AGM, that Pantrinbago was under attack from NCC,and the membership should support the Executive in the defense of the Pan body.
The membership immediately responded by giving this Executive this most powerful Mandate ever given to a PanTrinbago's Executive.
As a "Thank You" to the membership for their support,the Executive BETRAYED the membership.
