We were the only people using "IRON" as percussion in music, why today we rush to drown it out in the rhythm section, as if we are ashamed of it, there is a drum they use today that drown out everybody. The IRON has to be heard in a steelband, steel and steel.

D drum is African, D IRON is Trini, it is typical Trini to push aside his own and embrace others. Yuh cyah eat doubles without pepper, it's the same with Steelband and iron.. We MUST hear the IRON.
