THERE NEEDS to be a LOCAL and GLOBAL CRY to FIX PAN TRINBAGO and to reduce CRIME in TRINIDAD and TOBAGO.

And that could only happen if AFRO-TRINIS RAISE THEIR VOICES!!!

  • I am shocked to see an AFRO-TRINI actually PUSHING this ANTI-CRIME AGENDA. But he has MY SUPPORT more than ever because we are NOT ALL SAVAGES.

"But I want to say to the supporters and sympathizers of the PNM, who like the United National Congress supporters are now conveniently burying their heads in the sand because their party is now in government, don’t shoot the messenger, because when the gun-toting criminal come for you, your PNM party card cannot save you."

“I have often said that the only reason why any one of us is still alive today is because nobody wants us dead as yet. It is that simple to take a life in TT today.”

Roget is still a LITTLE LITE on his assessment of the crime problem; but since he is breaking ranks and addressing the issue, I am not going to shoot the messenger.

  • Like dey getting the message, but they need much more activism: "darkness was trying to envelop our land and, to fight it, each individual has to be a light and then come together to dispel the darkness."

Time to $PEND more millions on a SEARCH committee....decisions, decisions, decisions to be made????

THE Prime Minister yesterday declared that Stephen Williams had “given of his best” as acting Commissioner of Police (CoP) to lead the Police Service in the fight against crime. However, despite his best efforts, Rowley said Williams has become “a victim of the system” and government cannot approve his nomination as CoP.

He made these statements prior to Williams’ nomination being rejected by the House of Representatives. Williams was the third nominee on the Police Service Commission’s order of merit list to be rejected by the House. Acting Deputy Police Commissioners Deodat Dulalchan and Harold Phillip were rejected by the House recently.
