I went out of my way to make sure that the CIP NAME was mentioned at least 100 TIMES on this forum. And I does be the first man to respond to all CIP POSTINGS to make sure that their name stay ON TOP the LEADER BOARD (ah mixing up meh GOLF here). And with all that dem CIP men think that I against them and wishing for them to fail.
Now, politically, I don't agree with the CIP MANIFESTO or even the choice of the name (CIP) or the 30 members on their list to REPLACE KEITH DIAZ. And on TOP OF THAT I think that their POLITICS is very weak and short-sighted and whatever else RUSSELL PROVIDENCE say about them. (Strike that last clause out, that was a Freudian Slip.)
So, Cecil, as of today I am putting you in CHARGE of CIP PROPAGANDA until the elections are over in October 2018 -- but from past experience that could be October 2021 (just ask the NEW VISIONARIES about that).

What I want to know is, if there is a Panorama 2018, and whether pan ppl getting sumptin, and not just anything, like the proverbial "shitty end of the stick."
Michael Joseph is a STANDARD PERFORMER. He has a HAND TO PROTECT and he PROTECTS IT. He lived a life of PAN and he holds his positions just like all the posters on this FORUM. He played his politics and ended up in the PT EXECUTIVE where GREAT FINANCIAL REWARDS come to the few in charge.
It is up to the CIP to try to take the buttered and cheesed bread out of his mouth. But they are not in that political class.
For all the SHOTS that we take at the KEITH DIAZ EXECUTIVE -- I think that his PRESS RELEASES are in order.
Claude...what I don't understand with the P.R.O.'s tirade is that he must know all that transpires in Panorama where children and young players are concerned. He must know how bands leaders target schools for players and of course tempting them with money, which goes with out saying. He must know that when schools use some band's pans for the School Panorama it is with the understanding that they in turn get players to bolster their band. This even if the players are already playing with another band too.
He must also know of parents' involvement in the hustle too. If as a parent, some big name arranger say "ah want tha lil boy/girl ...yuh think the parent saying no? He must know also that because of the hustle if you offer any of these "innocent" children a spot in your Panorama band the first question they will reply with is..."How much yuh paying?"
Well if he doesn't know...I know...and am telling all of us here that all of the above is what the modern-day Panorama has become. I don't know if it's "child labour" because as some of you have opined, "nobody is forcing them to play"...But certainly many, if not all steelbands benefit from the "labour" of children in some way or the other....Even his band too...

Gregory, I think Michael Joseph is very clever, he make about four post for the year and deliberately say things that will piss off people and sit back and watch all the comments and laugh.
