· First contested for position of Assistant Secretary on the recommendation of Arnim Smith former President of Pan Trinbago in 2000.
· Served as Assistant Secretary to Richard Forteau in the Patrick Arnold administration during the 2000-2006 period.
· Co-ordinated Pan Trinbago’s involvement in the Trade and Investment Convention, a joint project between the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association (TTMA), the RBTT Group and the former TIDCO held at the Hilton Trinidad in 2003.
· Led a two-man delegation to the Expo Caribe and 1V Business Forum in Santiago de Cuba- Cuba in 2003.
