I truly miss Ray's arrangements with Starlift, it gives the Panorama a different sound, a clean sound. Not only that but I believe folks didn't understand how Ray was able to get the most out of the players year-in, year-out...his hearing is razor sharp, he can hear mistakes that most arranger won't hear.
Starlift obviously has no money, no sponser and seems to be hell bent on self destruction (me being agumentative)
They must get a musician to arrange (they did have Michael Bootman) but above all they need a good drill master.
The engine room for the past 2 years seems to have lost their way.
