1985 was also the first year that the panorama results was the closest. (1) The top-5 places were Desperadoes and Renegades 282, All Stars 281, Tokyo 280 and Exodus 279. (2)  Was the only time a band placed 4th losing by a mere 2 points. (3) Was the last time that 2 conventional large bands tied for 1st. (4) Rudolph Charles became the first manager to lead a band to 6 panorama wins.

I think you're wrong about the song Desperadoes and Renegades played when they tied. I believe it was "pan in A minor "
