  • DJ’s (disc jockeys) impact carnival scene both in USA and Trinidad - in parties and ‘on the road’
  • Harmonites Steel Orchestra performs at part of the 1979 Superbowl half time show at the Miami Orange Bowl. The halftime show was "Carnival: A Salute to the Caribbean" with various Caribbean bands.
