C.I.P.’s constitutional rights PART #1

Pan Trinbago allegedly spent a quarter million in legal fees and may face more as C.I.P’s constitutional rights breached.

by Aquil Arrindell

We recently got reports that the President allegedly boasted that if the members of Pan Trinbago tried to remove him from office he would use the organization’s money to fight them in court.

Our organization is in the practice of getting lawyers rich because of the callous way they handle pan people’s business. Within the last seven years the amount of legal issues brought against Pan Trinbago is unprecedented. This recent act of ignorance against the Concerned Individuals for Pan’s (CIP) members is another example of why Pan Trinbago allegedly spent over a quarter million dollars of ‘pan man money’ in legal fees and would continue to do so under this executive.

Article 7, part C, no. 6 page 11.

The Regional General Meeting shall convene meetings once every two (2) months or at such other times as the chairman of the Regional Executive Committee shall deem necessary and, unless otherwise determined, a quorum of 60% of the financial membership of the Regional General Meeting eligible to vote present at the time the meeting is ready to proceed to business shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of the Regional General Meeting.

It is alleged that a few pan Trinbago executive members manipulated a meeting which moved a motion brought forward by one of the central executive’s agents, that violates the constitutional rights of the members of the C.I.P. What is fact, is that members of the south central executive did not give members sufficient notice or an agenda, the meeting did not have a quorum and in spite of this, a motion was moved and passed to distance themselves from the C.I.P. and any other organization which attempts to destabilise the organization.

So many things are illegal about this motion. It is disgraceful and hard to digest that so many executive members were present and not one had the intelligence, the integrity and the moral capacity to say that the action goes against our constitution. In addition to this, although at least one central executive officer was present, it would have then been presented to the the president and central executive and approved to air on national radio and displayed on pan trinbago’s web site.
