Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Three persons have thrown their hats in the ring for the position of President of Pan Trinbago Inc. Former Executive member Beverly Ramsey-Moore is up against incumbent Keith Diaz for the post in the Association’s upcoming Central Executive elections carded for Sunday 28th October, 2012. Also vying for the Presidency is Vernon P. Morancie, out-going Chairman Pan Trinbago’s Eastern Region.

 

Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. at the venue, the Capital Plaza, (formerly Crowne Plaza), Wrightson Road, Port of Spain in Trinidad. The election of officers is of special interest on the agenda of the Triennial Convention/Annual General Meeting, and includes Reports from the Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor and President.

 

At the close of nominations on Saturday 6th October, a total of nineteen candidates had filed documents to contest ten positions comprising President, Vice-President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, External Relations Officer, Education Officer and Trustees.

  • I hope that the best women or men are choosen for these positions. Dont be fooled by rhetoric. Look hard at the record of the present leaders and determine if they had done anything to move the culture of Pan to its rightful place in world music. Dont be bought with pie in the sky promises; take a stand for the uplifting of our culture and vote accordingly.Vote in the best person for the job; male or female.
