  • WOW! What a great idea!!! Tell if if ANY of the following ideas would put more money in their pockets...https://whensteeltalks.ning.com/forum/topics/steel-pan-blueprint-for-1

    • Steel-pan-blueprint-for -1,,,,everything in a nutshell,,,remedy ,,solution

  • I still think that steelbands have to figure out other ways of generating income at Carnival time, apart from the Panorama.

I mean, how much money do we expect to make by presenting one tune to the public over the Carnival season, regardless of practice time involved?

  • If we can't handle this 'hot potato' year in, year out. Why don't they find somebody else to do it. I have rather controversial ideas....forthcoming.

  • Ah tired of the same thing.............over and oer. Ah tired of the same ting..............over and over.

    • Patrick I hear you - but it is not the same thing.  Every year hundreds of players leave the panorama scene frustrated, never to return. They are replaced by hundred of new innocent players. It is a vicious cycle. It won't stop until the head is severed from the pan body completely and replaced.

      • Key words "every year" and "vicious cycle" It is the same thing......over and over, Bugs.

      • Logical reasoning and solution for the problem.

  • If Salah Wilson was given the support he needed around this time last year we would'nt be having almost the same discussion again this year. It is VERY IMPORTANT when a member of WST try to "DO SOMETHING FOR PAN or PANMEN" and ask for our support we give it.          TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG.

    • Cecil our brother Salah, did a masterful job. He is to be commended for his efforts. But a lot of people could not get past Salah's turning over the petition to Pan Trinbago. I believe that stopped the majority of people from participating.  I will admit it was very hard for me to stomach.  In hindsight, those folks were right. Pan Trinbago never delivered the petition to the minister.  There will never be majority support as long as Pan Trinbago is involved. Salah should have taken the petition directly to the prime minister himself. Even if they ignored him, once people hear and believe that Pan Trinbago is not involved, they would have supported Salah to the max. We have to be honest about the dynamics that are operating here.
