After watching yesterday's debate, the perfect scenario would have Mr. Amar or Mr. Dupres as president of Pantrinbogo. The successful candidate among the two gentlemen could appoint the unsuccessful candidate as a special executive advisor to the President. What augered well for the two gentlemen is their financial independence and declaration of non monetary ambition. These men seem to be in a better position to access both the public and private corridors of power.
I reserve the right to change my opinion after I hear I hear the next debate.

My question to all the candidates standing for election is this.
The predecessor of Pan Trinbago (Steelbands Association > National Association of T&T Steelbandsmen) started off, in effect as a "Trade Union" under the leadership of George "Sonny" Goddard who led the boycott of Panorama, in effect striking for the betterment of steelpan and in so doing something for pan. Somehow and somewhere along the way, that premise was lost.
What do those aspiring to lead and do something for pan have to say about the idea of returning to those roots?
Have any PT Members or Delegates ever called for this and what was the response from the leadership?
Has anyone in any of these roles contacted NATUC to start a dialogue?
Enquiring Minds want to know.

I'm in full agreement. What PanTrinbago needs is people with good business acumen and don't not rely on a salary to get by.
These two are top of the tree. Sorry Dolly you've got too many fingers in too many pies. You won't be able to fully commit unless you give up most of your other interest.
