Southern Marines Steelband Foundation Talent Expression preliminaries this weekend

Trinidad & Tobago, WI - The auditions are out of the way and the serious business of the Talent Expression competition is about to start. The ninth edition of this prestigious event organised by the Southern Marines Steelband Foundation and held at the Southern Marines Pan Palais in Marabella, south Trinidad, has seen auditions for two weekends ending Sunday 11th October 2009. Thirty contestants have been given the nod to move on to the Preliminaries which take place on Saturday 24th October at 7:00 pm at the Pan Palais - including panists Opal Murrel, Tyeesha Alexander and Ato Cobham, who each wish to continue in the footsteps of other Talent Expression-winning panists: Keisha Codrington, Junior “Wiggy” Hinds and Richard Bereaux. click for more
