The steelpan music movement has connected whole generations of players and the community with love, passion and commitment. In fact, it is not uncommon to find grandma or granddad, child and grandchild playing together in one steel orchestra in Brooklyn, New York. When Steel Talks Pan Photographers capture the essence of that reality from infant to young lady with mom and daughter who are both now veteran New York panorama players. I love...love...love this article. My daughter started playing at age 6 and I started the following year, playing together definitely does wonders for bonding relationships with family members. Our band strongly encourage and support family members playing together, we have 2 grand mothers with their grandsons and granddaughter, a father and teen son, a husband and wife and my daughter and I still play together - she is now 24. Its great to see this mom and her daughter enjoying the gift of Playing Pan - together in one of New York's finest - what memories for them both.

AT last, a positive sumptin'. Problem though, she is an intellectual and that doesn't sit too well with some folks in the pan movement. Leadership qualities? maybe? Great job, young lady!
