Barbados, W.I. - Argentinian reggae artiste Fidel Nadal has fallen in love with the sweet sounds of the steel pan after his first visit to Barbados.
Nadal informed Bajan Vibes that he is considering including the piercing sound of the steel pan in his future works after being exposed to the instrument while participating in last weekend’s pan-filled events, Pan Fusion and Pan Pun De Sand.
“I am looking forward to making a video and a song with the steel pan band. I want to do it because I feel the vibes,” Nadal revealed.
“I have never sung with a steel pan band. I have always worked with regular instruments, bass, guitar, and keyboard but …for me, it is amazing that the steel pan makes the sounds of all the instruments, all the cords,” he added.
