The Police will always have the power the shut down carnival, but they got to have a good reason. Those in authority has to be able to think outta the box the prevent problems. This is a perfect example of the authorities NOT thinking outta the box.
Legal advice and the High Court must get involved here, Junia. Left alone could be a good excuse for police to stop the carnival in the future at anytime carnival Monday or Tuesday.
