NCC Chairman, Kenny de Silva said yesterday: “We are coming out with a joint statement tomorrow, indicating that the NCC will be handling the gates for the carnival shows and we’ll be doing an audit after, and the Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) will manage their shows.” He added: “We are dealing with all revenue aspects of the Panorama and all payments pertaining to that show. Pan Trinbago would be paid a management fee to be decided upon in terms for what they need for Panorama, and a similar situation exists with TUCO (Trinbago Unified Calypsonians Organisation), and we already have the Mas.” Told there was talk of pan, Mas and kaiso being put back together on Dimanche Gras night de Silva said: “That has not been settled.
That composition hasn’t been worked out as yet.” And when asked who is producing Dimanche Gras and what will be the format? De Silva responded that in collaboration with TUCO, the NCC will be producing Dimanche Gras but stated that the format is still evolving.
Calls to TUCO president Lutalo Massimba and acting Pan Trinbago president Richard Forteau all went unanswered.

PAN MEN have more POWER than they could ever imagine!!! They just don't know it.
A scant 100 pan men marched and chanted in front of the PAN TRINBAGO OFFICE and the next thing you know -- checks for remittances started to get written; KEITH DIAZ was stripped of the control of PANORAMA; The NCC will be collecting all Gate Receipts; Two members of the EXECUTIVE resign; and the PRESIDENT got a HEART ATTACK. Don't talk about all the MEDIA ATTENTION and the immediate focus of the NCC to pay the 2017 performance fees IN MARCH this year.
That means that PAN MEN don't have to wait a whole year like in 2016. But the law of unintended consequences always seems to muck every thing up because once dem PAN MEN get paid for 2017 in March -- they eh have no interest in Marching for nothing or protesting for CHANGE IN PAN TRINBAGO. (As soon as they get it dey HAPPY!!!)
So we coming right back to rest on the root note: Which is KEITH DIAZ continues to sit undaunted as PRESIDENT OF PAN TRINBAGO until 2020 -- ALL THE PROTEST DONE!!!
And men want to run on this forum with irrational bursts of emotions and talk about taking Diaz to court and locking him up. 21 murders for the year in Trinidad already and not ONE MURDER CHARGE. And don't talk about all the women who are just disappearing and the others that are getting killed in plain sight. And NO POLICE eh see. Don't even mention the systematic HATE CRIMES that are taking place in the land.
Which PNM police go lock up Keith Diaz? That and Donald Trump making THE FULL FOUR YEARS AS PRESIDENT allyuh will never see!!!
