Gavin, it's a natural progression, first you have The Dream, then The Wedding, then The Children, then The Family all Dougla from the marriage of chutney and soca or bake and shark and doubles.

Ray Holman has always been a Pioneer in the Steel band world. He has changed the way Panorama tunes are Produced which is by the Pan Man for the Pan man as we see today, always innovative. He is going to another level with his Marriage of the Chutney Culture with the Steel band. Last Year was the Dream and now is the Marriage. Always ahead of the Pack. He has done it before lets see if He can do it again. Time alone will Tell.
Ray knows he is on to something. I went to Skiffle pan yard [ in POS] 3 times last year and got the same vibe each time. Young pan people [Indian and Afro.] enjoying their music, you could see the love and respect they have for Ray. I believe the marriage of Ray and Skiffle will be a lasting and productive one.

The difference is the at no time in the history of carnival we ever had such involvement from Indians.
Two years in succession the man bring songs with a heavy chutney vibe and yuh want to tell me that he is not starting a trend, Ray new sound for panorama is a mixture of chutney and soca.
No heart attack for no one just the DOUGLARIZATION of our music.
