THE time is ripe for a woman to lead PanTrinbago.
This was the view of ace pannist and arranger Dane Gulston as he weighed in yesterday on PanTrinbago president Keith Diaz’s announcement that he was stepping down as head of the pan organising body. Diaz is expected to resign at an extraordinary meeting to be called within the next two weeks.

Mr. Gulston should be careful that his opinion is not perceived as CIP's opinion. After all, he was alway the face in the mainstream media for the CIP. The demographic of the voters in the pan fraternity is mainly old pan men. A woman would not win as president at this time. Any logical thinking person can see that.

Today you cannot leave out women in anything Pan,they are well represented as players and on the rise in management, so to say "no woman is going to be elected to run Pan Trinbago" is silly talk.

But it is up to THE CIP to clarify their position!!! In this 2018, THE CIP should have done shot a video and posted it on FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE and WST distancing from DANE GULSTON.

But I was surprised to see BEVERLEY jump back in the brew after all the LICKS she get the last time. However, if you study her agenda carefully -- she did benefit financially just from being in the last race.
