White Media Falsely Link Brooklyn Shootings to West Indian American Day Parade

New York, USA - Is it racist or simply stupid that five shootings in Brooklyn that occurred in the wee hours of Monday morning were automatically linked by white-owned media entities in New York City to the West Indian American Day Carnival?

The carnival, the largest in North America which draws a large percentage of black Caribbean immigrants annually for the past 47 years, kicked off at 11 a.m. yesterday at Schenectady and Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, NY. But shootings that occurred at 3:30 a.m. and 4:45 a.m., respectively, were quickly linked to the Carnival.

PIX 11 via the AP ran a story that began with the lead: “For all the festivity that surrounds the annual West Indian Day Parade, the event has been scarred in recent years by violence nearby and that was the case Monday morning.”

....The real story of course went unreported of course.

No one was injured, shot or killed at the carnival or on the parade route which drew tens of thousands.

WAKE UP NIGGERS (I AM ONE) i\This is nothing new. its been going on for years and WEST INDIANS (I am one) who are not very political minded in the USA say nothing. We must address this more vigorously and direct. Not just the WHITE media as u claim but the Jewish interests who have a vested interest in disgracing the carnival and west indians in general because they want control of our crown heights. Eastern parkway is federal property (all parkways are) so the real estate value along and near it will be high and continue to get higher its prime real estate Why u think they put their Hasidic HQ at kingston ave and Eastern Pkwy?? that is no accident. Thats a deliberate act with a message. They have vigilanty groups going around harassing west indians both night and day. This is bigger than just the white media. WE MUST BE IN THE FOREFRONT OF THE FIGHT AGAINST THEIR ATTEMPTS TO MOVE WIADCA OFF THE PARKWAY. During Ed Koch days a concerted attempt was made to do so but Shirley Chisholm and her connections in DC was strong enough to back Koch up against a wall. Now we dont have those connections. Even the last mayor and Giulani made attempts at stifling our festival. (no booze etc and the shortening of the carnival hours. Obviously they have all sorts of arguments to prop up their attempts. DONT LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS. BIG UP MY PEEPS. paddy

This is what ABC said about the Shooting, ABC News via the AP carried the same headline with a lead in that stated: “ a massive Caribbean celebration . was MARRED by a fatal shooting nearby before the official festivities got underway.

The word MARRED is a Verb (used with object), marred, marring. .

1.To damage or spoil to a certain extent; render less perfect, attractive, useful, etc.; impair or spoil:
That billboard mars the view. The holiday was marred by bad weather..

2.To disfigure, deface, or scar:
The scratch marred the table.

THE SHOOTING DID NONE OF THESE THINGS TO OUR "WEST INDIAN AMERICAN DAY PARADE", (smh)

Same nonsense with Caribana festivities in T.O. The media waits for some incident to shower negative sensationalism on the parade and tie it to the celebration. De cyar stop the carnival, try as dey may...

That's nothing new, They did the same thing a few years ago in Washington, DC Carnival, Linking a Shooting with the DC Carnival. This goes on all over this Country. Very Sad.
