Hi Venice,

Kindly accept my sincerest sympathies for your loss.  There is nothing more important than what you are going through right now.  Be kind to yourself and take care.

It is EXCELLENT to see the youth getting their voices heard. You are the future you are tomorrow. Now get your self a representative on the boerd of Pan Trinbago not an old fogie of their choice or even a young person of their choice, but someone that you appprove of. Time that you all take up the mantle properly not just plsaying the instrument but in the decision making and REALLY DOING SOMETHING FOR PAN. Congratulations young person. Take the flame and run

Now what is your plan?  all I see here is, we are going to do something for pan, take my advice, to be successful in this venture all the pan people of Trinidad and Tobago must unite and become a force to be recond with, that is the only way you will be able to make demands and take control your future, right you all are divided and that is why you cannot and will not get any respect.

Salah Wilson had a petition going and all he got was 400 signature and I am sure the grater percentage of the persons who signed the petition were people who reside out of T&T.  What a Shame.  Anyway this is not going to happen if  you are not united.  Take an example from the Egyptian

Greetings

PowerStars logging on and locking in.

Venice, see Mr. Salah Wilson on this network. He will provide you with the framework documents that have already been prepared that  you need to champion this cause. Junior Panorama competition will provide a fantastic opportunity to gather all of your petitions.

Staying tuned in close to the ground.

I agree with the youths of the Steelpan Fraternity it is time for you to do something for yourselves.  The committees, executves and all other parties, have been running the show for such a long time that they may have lost sight of the fact that it is necessary to make changes.  But some people are afraid of changes, they would rather stagnate.  If you know exactly what you want to accomplish, and where you would like to go, then you will have to find like-minded people and work with them.  Drop the deadwood and move on.

Congratulations, on the formation of the group DO SOMETHING FOR PAN, what I will like to see is that this group be a WATCH DOG, pressure group, ask questions at meetings, get involved, and then and only then will PAN TRINBAGO truly become the WORLD GOVERNING BODY FOR PAN.
