LEROI BOLDON

Posted on June 26, 2012 at 9:40am 1 Comment

I would like to encourage WHEN STEEL TALKS to conduct an interview with LEROI BOLDON, who was a hands-on witness to the early development of the steelband movement. Here is a man who has spent his entire life living, loving and supporting, not just the pan, but the culture of Trinidad and Tobago from the streets of Port-of-Spain to the shores of California.

His is an informative and historical story of one man's unheralded contribution to the artform, that should be shared with the…

CLAUDE Mi AMIGO, I'm a bit late on this comment, but DIAZ has taken $5 million TT dollars each year since he has been made President of Pan Trinbago, NOT $5 million in the six years, he's been there, he bought a new car when he became President and build two new houses, well what do U expect when the PT Central Executive Committee lets DIAZ signs CHECKS ???

Yes / Si  CLAUDE Mi Amigo, FIDELITY is warranted when the tuners fail to MODULATE / FINE TUNE their work or maintain it in proper measure, and where the ARRANGERS  has fail to implement UNISON and DISCIPLINE there players, in their work, FIDELITY is ACCURACY in sound reproduction, and RHYTHMIC PATTERNS is the rate of speed of a musical piece ...

CLAUDE Mi Amigo; don' t worry your head to much, it look's like I have to try and bring down Diaz for U GUY'S, all by myself, two weeks ago my Attorney and Agent in T&T, registered a "Pre Action Protocol Correspondent" to President Keith Diaz and Pan Trinbago, in reference to non payment of 2015 Panorama performance, with the ensemble I tuned and played quad cellos " PANATICS",  every one else in the ensemble got paid since June 2015, all except myself, willful malicious spite work by Diaz and his regime, they also spite the ensemble in 2013 and 2014, in 2013 the ensemble qualified for the semi finals by points, there excuses was that they had to bring in a Tobago band, who did not make more points than "Panatics" made, in 2014, they said that they didn't have the tune/song the band played, that was Y they did not make the semis again, now this year they showed their real color/reason Y, therefore; they have 30 days upon recipe of said correspondent to comply with a monthly interest, or a costly $$$$$$.oo claim will be sought/filed against  Diaz and Pan Trinbago, for that ABROGATION, and I ain't taking any prisoners, so guy's watch for the fireworks...

CLAUDE Mi Amigo, no one suggested anything to him, his Gran mother Lillian Roberts use to say he 's crazy when he was so pursuant, Williams knew and learn to read music from his step grand father we called gran pa Norman, who used to make guitars, cuatros, and upright basses etc, Williams was also a choir boy in the St Marys church choir in St James, and also took vocal/voice training from a piano teacher in Kandaha, named Ms Greenidge, in 1948 at the age of 17 years old, finding that the tenor pans were somewhat harp hazzard or out of order as he put it, in an attempt to rectify the problem of, a C next to a B, an octave here and the other two miles away, at the St James Library one evening he stumbled across a History Book, in it was several paragraph of a Greek Mathematician "Pythagoras" a student of Thales c 640-550 BC, and his "geomagnetic geometry theorem", which he Pythagoras used when he discovered the revolving of the 7 planets, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus, and how fast they were traveling at different speeds, Pythagoras did not create the/any circle, Pythagoras and his followers died when their meeting house was torched, murdered burn to death, before he could explore his theory further, others who used his theorem were Damon of Athens,Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Nicholas Copernicus, Tycho Brahe and Johann Kepler, who derived the five lines E G B D F and four spaces F A C E on manuscript paper from that theorem, we use in music today, from it derive the chromatic scale, still not in a circle but, in an up and down ladder type movement, at the end of sheet music where you suppose to repest, there are two dot's, one above the B line and one below, a repeat symbol on the lines of the manuscript sheet, Williams took those 5 lines and 4 spaces of "Keplers" and loopt them in a circle, to creat the first circle with the revolving circle or movements of "Pythagoras" planets to the east, which circle the "SUN" the CENTER of the UNIVERSE, I have only disclose a crumb of Williams theorem, in the text book of the ORACLE, I will disclose how the other 5 notes F# C# G# Eb Bb, derived, over and out for NOW
