Condolences are extended to the Samaroo family on behalf of the Superior Court (formerly Territorial Court) Rising Stars Youth Steel Orchestra.  We are once again truly saddened at yet another loss to the steel pan family of someone with whom we have had such a close and positive relationship during our Orchestra's 35 year existence.  His legacy with our Orchestra will not be forgotten and will continue to serve as a beacon for our continuous improvement.  We will forever remember the love and care that he and his family provided our staff during their many visits to Trinidad to participate and strengthen their musical knowledge and pan-playing skills in numerous Panorama activities.  Additionally, several of our staff members have also served Dr. Jit in their participation with the Renegades - Rabbi, Sean, Tino and Laura.  We will forever be in his debt.  Dr. Jit now joins our beloved Herman Guppy Brown and our own Elvino "Sifu" George in Pan Heaven.  May the soul of Dr. Jit and all the other faithful departed rest in eternal peace.

BEAUTY IS A JOY FOREVER and so as we are saddened by the passing of Dr. Jit let us remember that he has left us his TREASURES those BEAUTIES wherein lie the JOYS of his Labour . Being one from amongst the Gifted and Talented he came ,Delivered and Conquered for his ENORMOUS ACHIEVEMENTS bear Testimony to this . The Heights Of Great Men Reached And Kept Were Not Attained By Sudden Flight But They Whilst Their Companions Slept Kept Toiling Onwards Through The Night . May we learn from him Humility , Dedication , Devotion and Selfless Service . What a GEM . May Peace be with him and his Family .

May God's grace continue to be with the family of Dr. Jit. His creativity altered the approach to lower mid-section voicing of steelband arranging.

May your soul rest in peace brother. Adlib sends condolences to your family. Your nephew still plays with them. I remember him visiting Adlib regularly in the summer, and arranging tunes for us.
