Seems like Desperadoes cant catch a break Every other band has it's entire offering uploaded except for Desperadoes

Wow! That is music.... at its finest. Sad to say but them judges are in love with ''THE TWO  CHORD ARRANGEMENT'' . Mr. Dalrymple: I echo your sentiment.

Absolutely love Despers rendition of Spankin.  Don't rule them out as yet.  Suspect they're going to put a good spankin on some of those other steel bands.  All they need now is an explosive finale as the music is already so sweet from beginning to end.  A litlle repitition in the middle but Robbie can fix that.

This is why I love the Desperadoes their music is typical in terms of its quality but definitely not predictable...........Desperadoes forever!!!!!

Despers,

First time I am hearing the band, a typically expected (but not predictable) arrangement by Robert with power and precision. Robert employs his signature style (musical volcano) in this arrangement. The theme of the song is ever present as it continues to build, use of disjunctive movements and modulation gives some variety but one can clearly know that this is Desperadoes always melodious. When I check the total time of just over six minutes.( at least from this recording) I know that Robert is not yet finished so we can expect and look forward to more from this…. But it was good enough to at least be where it is in 3rd spot, though tied with others. ( have not heard all as yet)

Salah
