  • I know they make excellent mics. That wasn't my point. It was that this guy had no technical information about them when asked why they would be good for recording pans, and which of their mics would be appropriate for the application.

  • Eric Rollnick, Telefunken makes awesome mic.  Unless he was talking about a specific mic none of your spec concerns matter. I know you were not about buy his mic just because he said so.  Why don't you share some specifics on why his mics are not good for pan.

  • What a pile of B.S., This guy gave absolutely no information on the technical aspects of their microphones. SPL levels, frequency range, type of ribbon etc. ..

  • MUD, HARSH and BRITTLE ... I have been looking for the technical elements of PAN DISSONANCE for years!!! And for decades DEM TRINIS tell me that I doh know what I talking about. But a musical note is a musical note and everybody knows what a musical note sounds like except for PAN PEOPLE when they hear PAN PLAY!!!
