Back in the day

Great photography....Words could not better chronicle this historical event.

 

This is an amazing artifact... all the history in these photos. Can anyone identify the band in the first few photos taken from the stands? With the white/yellow basses. They must have an oil sponsor cause you can see a little oil tower with flameaux off to the left. I would say Renegades but those aren't Amoco colors.

Great memories. It was my first time back home after being away for  five years. Never thought I'd see pictures from that year again. Love it. Thanks to the photographer for posting them.
