I was thinking more along the lines of a Sunday afternoon, good clean family entertainment...

Yuh MAXIMIZING the EXPOSURE for the STEELBANDS during the CARNIVAL SEASON!!!
The STEELBANDS will be forced to step up the EARLY PERFORMANCES because THE COMPETITION will be right there NEXT TO THEM.
BEVERLEY having ah NEXT MEETING next month -- how do you get the idea on the agenda.
On second thought, it could be a good money-making idea for the TOWN BANDS. Hold the event on a FRIDAY NIGHT and then let the people stay and PARTY with the bands after the judging is over.
