  • Congratulations Cordettes on your continued drive to sustainability and excellence, not just for yourselves, but for music.

It is encouraging to see a steelband investing in the development of the art form independently of what is supposed to be the world governing body for steelband. Considering the recent public announcements of the president of Pan Trinbago relative to the revival of the pan in schools program, it would be interesting to see where, and how funding, and resources will be injected and channelled.

Charity begins at home, therefore it would be reasonable to conclude that The World Governing Body for Steelband would identify with any initiative of a bonafide member organization that aligns with the objectives of a program endorsed and funded by the Government of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, custodians of the taxpayers of this country.

I would be enthused to see Pan Trinbago take an interest in ensuring that development programs started by Cordettes and other steelbands, be given first priority, in conjunction with established educational institutions that already have pan in their schools when it comes to the allocation of resources. Charity begins at home.

    • Yuh right RUSSELL PROVIDENCE!!! But what you do NOT KNOW is that CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME WITHIN THE POCKETS OF THE PAN TRINBAGO EXECUTIVE.

GIVE JACK HIS JACKET -- so who the jacket belong to ... JACK ... so why people acting as if they doing JACK a favour by giving him HIS OWN JACKET.

CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME and where is home for THE PAN? Home for THE PAN is  PAN TRINBAGO -- THE WORLD GOVERNING BODY OF PAN. So any CHARITY have to start right at home in BEVERLEY POCKET and THE VP POCKET and THE SECRETARY POCKET  -- well yuh too bright and educated for me to explain all them FUNDAMENTAL LIFE TRUTHS to YOU ... of all people!!!

And allyuh keep educating all these students in MUSIC -- but how come nobody cyar compose ah decent piece of PAN MUSIC to WOW THE WORLD!!!

  • ....Nice going Cordettes.....Congrats to Mr Bengochea and Team....keep it up.
