From Pan Elders

"Good Morning... As the saying goes..."nothing lasts forever". With that said, the Executive committee wishes to formally announce the resignation of Mr. Duvone Stewart as arranger for Pan Elders Steel Orchestra. We understand that while "all good things come to an end," this was a difficult but imperative decision for all parties involved. We again wish to express our utmost gratitude and appreciation to Mr Stewart - for the seven great and successful years he has spent with this band. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours."

The Pan Elders organization announced that it will make public its new arranger this Monday.

Duvone gave them many great years.  The man is more than entitled to move on.

Not sure what drives this, but now that Pan Elders has a new arranger in Kendall Williams, maybe the need to question the direction will shift.  It's not like he's not arranged and did his thing, come and gone many other steelband sides in the past, eh...

Duvone Stewart has arranged for Merrytones, Our Boys, LH Pan Groove, San Juan Eastside, Starlift (St Vincent and the Grenadines) Ebony (UK), Brampton Golden Harps (Canada), Piton Diamond Steel Orchestra (St Lucia), Harmony Steel and Casym Steel Orchestras (New York), Calypso Atlantic and Steel Pan de Montangac (France), Big Pan Pan Groove (Germany) Pan Elders and BP Renegades.
