Executives at the Organization are today saying that they feel threatened that the organization may be forcefully taken by Government.

Speaking with News Power Now, this morning, Acting President of Pantrinbago, Richard Forteau said yesterday’s event showed that decisions made outside of Pantrinbago’s unit control cannot be run smoothly.

Forteau however said they will meet with members to discuss how the final night will be structured.

He also said that they will discuss how to maintain the independence of the organization.

  • Amen
  • Legally the government cannot "take over" Pan Trinbago. (nor should it be allowed to do so.) It can vary the level of its subvention to the pan body.

    The power to change the status quo in Pan Trinbago lies in the membership. It would take the voting power of the members (or an Act of Parliament) to change Pan Trinbago.

    A forensic analysis of the organization's finances at best may identify improprieties. That in itself would not change the "culture" of the Pan Trinbago Central Executive nor its priorities.

  • The acting President only playing with words.

  • Pan Trinbago could discuss all they want but 58 bands in one day is BULLSHIT!!!;
