PANTRINBAGO's financial troubles are far from over.
Speaking at the official opening of the organisation's office, at the corner of Duke and Melbourne Streets, president Beverly Ramsey-Moore said as manager of Katzenjammers Steel Orchestra in Tobago, she too has had to tell her 90 players who performed for Panorama 2018, that PanTrinbago does not have the funds to pay players.
And, she said, it does not look possible for 2019.
Ramsey-Moore said the organisation moved from an allocation of $30 million to $20 million, and the executive cannot continue to put the organisation in debt.
“We are appealing to our member bands, speak to your players just as I have done as a manager that we are all in this together. Somebody has to give. If we have to maintain our price structure and if we have to ensure we satisfy our members, then they too must come up with resourceful ways of servicing their players.
Exactly.... That is what I intend on doing...Give it straight to the bands.
Tell your friends and family... If everyone contributes we can complete the goal and pay the pan players
GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!!
And you did not write no long BULLSHIT PAPER on what is SUPPOSED to HAPPEN TO PAN!!!
Have we already forgotten the Past executive of P,T,. who mismanaged the funds give to the organisation which were also misappropriated by members of that executive. They should have been taken before a Court of Law to answer how Pan Players monies had been spent. Maybe some members of the previous committee are friends with some of you, but RIGHT IS RIGHT and . WRONG IS WRONG.
Pan Players the past President and his executive are the ones who have squandered your monies. The only thing i would want to pressure the President Beverly Ramsey Moore to do is to get copies of the Forensic Audit from the MINISTER and/or the Chairman of the NCC. and if there is any sort of fraud observed, CALL in he FRAUD SQUAD.
People in high office must be responsible for their actions. All in favour state your name and band without fear or favor, so that this corruption be prevented in the future..
