Personally, I will ALWAYS maintain that Flamingoes' arrangement/rendition of this selection, Poets and Peasants is THE GREATEST pan tune ever to be played &/or listened to. Salut d'amour, Elizabethan Serenade, Claire De Lune ( all Junior Pouchet) were special but after (about 7 years) the Festival of '66 Bendix did something magical with Flamingoes; and it still lives on.
After all these years, please confirm that Flamingoes is the band in the recording on WST.
