But I will not bore allyuh with specifics. Sufficeth to say that a SUPER BURRITO (with everything) which used to sell for about $9.00 is now up to $12 ... and the TYPICAL CHINESE DISH that was $9.95 has now gone to $12.95.
DON'T EVEN TALK ABOUT THE PRICE OF STEAKS IN THE GROCERY STORE!!!
It is not going to change my LIFESTYLE -- but I refuse to accept the POLITICAL LIE that there is NO INFLATION.
Ah wish that THE NEW STEELBAND EXECUTIVE IN TRINIDAD would FACTOR IN FOR INFLATION and PAY DEM PAN PLAYERS at least $1500 for their PANORAMA CONTRIBUTIONS. Some MUSLIM fellah on THE CHOPPING BLOCK say that PAN PLAYERS does generate 1.2 BILLION for THE CARNIVAL ... so what is a little $1500 for a PAN MAN (or woman or girl) in these INFLATIONARY TIMES!!!
