Very Interesting Music However I Don't Think Birdsong Is Going No Where With That.

Charlene Lusk and or Ansel Joseph, If this beautiful creation of music is executed cleanly I predict it will go down in history as advancing Panorma to a new level. One question i have for you is what exactly is the criteria to be judged on that you mention?  Does anyone really know?  Should it be following the "Panorama formula?"  I think not.  Great artists (or art) usually break(s) the formula, the rules, the norm, etc to advance the art , to take the art form to the next level. Without this risk taking the art stagnants. Perhaps originality and creativity should be given more weight.  Don't get me wrong, I love many panorama arrangements from the greats you mentioned but am also bored by hearing the same formulas used over and over. In my humble opinion this is a very creative, beautiful and interesting arrangement and is exactly what the panorama artform needs to advance. One Love. D Gettes

Charlene Luck, Andy Narell has made the panorama finals with his last two arrangements consecutively with Skiffle Bunch. The majority of panorama arrangers in Trinidad never made it to the finals, as a matter of fact it is their dream to take their band to the finals at Queen's Park Savannah. This man is a master, he will easily make the finals again, no jumble up music here.

Very smooth, I like it very much, his arrangements here sounds way above what we heard for panorama this year. I know he will have Birdsong sounding very very clean as he arrange this tune for them. Its going to be great. A master tune for all schools with music programs. This is a great test piece.

Nice piece of Jazz, but definitly not calypso music. Could not recognize where the chorus is hidden. Fitting name, "The last Word." Ah don't thing that would make finals. Panorama is based on Trinidad Steelband music. We developed this particular kind of music based on cultural experiences along the way,and today we have arrived at a format that we call Panorama Music: a mixture of Classical, Jazz, Latin, Soca, Calypso, and the contempary music styles of the world that we have placed our mark on.  We welcome you to follow us in celeberating our panorama with respect for our music in humbling one's self to the methods that are employed by our Icons of the Steel Pan such as The Master Bradely, "Boogsie", Jit, Beverly, Robbie, and so many others that are responsible for setting the standard that we have arrived at if you want to be judged by our criteria. Ansel Joseph, Pan Tuner
