The Arrangers

When Steel Talks salutes in pictures, arrangers we have met through our travels.

They are some of the most respected and honored musicians among the world’s steelpan music fraternity. They are the winning panorama and/or competition arrangers for steel orchestras. No other entity or factor can effect the fortune of a band at panorama, or in any competitive arena - like The Arranger.

First I want congratulate "When Steel Talks" for the wonderful job it is doing to promote pan music. As an old calypso arranger myself (and some pan too when I was younger) I am really happy to see the talents of some of our young arrangers being exposed. I wish them well in their future endeavours. By the way, can we have the names of the bands they are arranging for? Or am I missing something....like something to click on to see this.

Ok I love this page but there is still some ore researching that needs to be done. There are so much more arrangers that should be on this page. I understand what people say about outstanding Arrangers but what about those who are not given a fair chance. Yeah their bands probably did not play the arrangement good but just listen to the musical arrangement. Sometimes we just need to give the other "smaller Arrangers" a chance. I can call names but I won't.
I believe everyone should have a chance to be regognised.
