I have played with bands both in trinadad and brooklyn new york. being one of the only white males playing the pan scene back in the day when umoja, pan rebels women in steel etc lined Parkside Ave in Brooklyn NY (1997-1999).....Boogsie Goddard Holman etc would come to Parkside Ave and drill the bands...mind you they were placed right next to eachother so you can hear each band trying to play over the next...anyone who played that scene would remember me playing with Tony "Pra", Eddie Q and Umoja........so i believe Ray Holman's Starlift was one of the best bands...
