Hi, Mr Greenidge , much respect to you for your outstanding work, and to the Desperadoes organization in general.
You've even got me listening to Jimmy Buffett, and I've enjoyed your performances over the years with musical icons like Taj Mahal etc.
Anyway, I have a copy of the Tripple Crown Album that 's in pretty good condition. I've posted a few selections on this forum, and judging from the reaction I think this album can possibly be reissued as a CD.
I've converted the tracks to the WAV format, and if you or the band wishes, I can donate them to the band as a token of my appreciation for the musical joy that you and your colleagues in Despers have given us.
There are no strings attached , and these tracks can easily be converted to a CD that can hopefully generate some revenue for the panmen who participated in its production.
Like I said, this is a gift of friendship and respect.
I told the assistant manager of Desperadoes that the band should always contact you whenever they are travelling anywhere in the US. I went up with the band to St. Petersburg, Florida.
I have a DVD of Desperadoes from 1969. See how you looked at 19 years of age.
Hi Robbie, how you doing? It's really nice to hear from you.it is good to remember all the good times we had in our yourh. Just remember you have always been my favourite pan player. keep up the good work.martin albino
