Well, you have it right. The job of being in charge og athletics in T & T is a big one so the I have limited time for playing. The last time I played in a panorama was back in 2005 with Phase after working with Pan Knights from 1994 to 2004 together with Robert. All I do now is to continue running my hands at home since I have my seconds in my living room. Good to hear from you
. Keep in touch.
Hi I was hoping that by now U would have touched the hearts of some of the "archivers" for want of a better term. I may have some downloaded but my "Dinosaur" needs to be upgraded to facilitate the trce, burning etc.... Send me an email @ . have U contacted DIAZ (Starlift / Despers)at 95.5?
there is only one Carl Rajack in this world and it's me...Yep I remember you from saints but cant remember your surname... It's a small world but glad we could hook up after all these years. I live in Toronto for the past 21 years but still very much in touch with every single bacchanal in TNT.
Do you remember Michael Lashley from Saints ? He is Trinidad's commissioner general here in Toronto.
Let me know what you are up to... My email is email@example.com if you wish to contact me directly..
take care man !!
I have the Starlift songs you want on CD. I do have the list of all the Panorama winners, tunes played, arrangers etc. and am using this to creat the CD. Email me you address at my hotmail account and I will arrange to get the Starlift music to you.
To all my pan friends and also to those whom I do not know. I very strongly want to get CDs on the following to purchase or whatever:
1. THE BRADLEY YEARS 1999-2005
2. DESPERADOES !(^^ TRIPLE CROWN ALbum with Czardas, Flight of the Bumble Bee and the Sound of Music pieces
3. The best of Starlift to include Panman, Pan on the Move, Pan on the Run, Sweet Chairity, Pennylane and other greatsest hits.
Can any of you help? If so, you would certainly be improving my major music listening pleasure. Thanks in advance and Peace to you all.
Hail! I am yet to "locate" the discussions to which u refered except for the exchanges between urself & the player (Kelly) from Renegades. Hope all's well at ur end & urs truly is just cool dodging the politics & bullets. LUV UP!
Hail! I have a sneaky suspicion who this is ("Sommers"??). If u know me u know where my heart lies. Silver Stars caught me by complete surprise as I had not been to their yard but nostalgic & re-freshing indeed - (Dr. Zchivago, Nigger Man, Best things in Life are Free & 3 Pan in the 21st Century wins for Pouchet. Not really too much into the results thing but really felt it for Deltones - guess the arrangement was there...... but the instruments????. Been watching these guys & Zanda over the last coupla years....(caught my attention when they were drilling next to Despers in the Savannah 2 years ago). LUV UP!!!
It is indeed quite revolting how the whole thing was handled - right through the season...the final night drama was just the icing on the cake...Exodus fell into the trap. What has surprised me is that within this relatively small circle of pan people, nobody seems to know what really happened. The management of the bands are being pretty quiet about the lawyer thing and the subsequent discussion that took place. From what I gather, most players (even in Exodus), do not know the part about the letter from the lawyer etc. I am wondering why they are keeping it quiet, unless they are pursuing further legal action and will tell all when it is completed? The bands are taking the blame for the most part and are at risk of losing players next year (which is probably what PT wanted to happen in the first place when they started playing games with their own rules). I have been reading the comments and newspaper reports from all sides but have yet to see anything about this - BUT - I do not want to be the one who brings it up in the wide open. I told you on your wall but I am not putting anything in the bigger discussion until some band representatives come forward with the whole story or it shows up in the newspapers etc.
Hi Edgar, sorry, still recovering...it was a good musical experience to be sure. The 100 player thing was quite a surprise, as I believe the bands had gone to a lawyer and presented Pan Trinbago with a letter, after which they were told "there's nothing to stop you from coming with more than 100...." Then, they were counting players on the stage and Exodus got caught...and you know the rest...
