Patrick Ramdoo, Wait nah, you are Jackass of today now. You for real??? No justification warranted .What a 'dotish' comparison. Please note that whether other people said so or not, is not the issue here. It's Mendez in his capacity as Chairman needs to know what is required of him in his position and must not show any biasness and disrespect . We already have low tolerance for PAN TRINBAGO Management team and this has put a further nail in the coffin. Soon the coffin will be completely sealed.

Here Here Patrick; not because I know Dudley Dickson personally and have worked with him in Phase II 2010 with "Pan Army", there "PAN'S was the BEST I've heard all night, the music were well balanced, the KEY they choose to play their tune in did Dudley's work JUSTICE, the best three (3) bands I heard was EBONY, BSO, SUPERNOVER'S, and I have to place RENEGADES in there too, these band's music was very well balanced, as for the rest of the band's, All Stars and Phase II BACKGROUND WERE STRANGLING THE FRONT LINES tenors, seconds, guitars etc etc, the rest of the bands alot was happening, I heard too much "DENSITY" or noise's, as a result of wrong key, bad tuning or identity of musical pitch, lack of unison in players, basses bullying the music where th bass is an accompanying voice, and not a lead voice, loud and over powering drumming by some over size rhytum drum, and especially where the melody get's lost,  in panorama there's a formula to be followed, where when we/Anthony Williams/Panam Northstars, used a "Bach" concerto formula with out dynamic's as "Bach's Air on a G String had NO DYNAMIC'S on the sheet, which entailed an Introduction play the melody 1st and 2nd part's state the theme, meaning repeat them and change key's two more times, where a concerto is a musical piece played in three movements or, three different key's, there's a lot more but I'll stop $ NOW...

Yes Patrick, he was elected for a three year's period, and according to the constitutional by law's of Act No 5 of 1986, he/Diaz CEASE to be President other than by election, for another term, "Court Injunction" or not, he should have been "IMPEACHED"...

Patrick the bands today do not impress me, not that I am looking to be impressed by any of them, what there doin is to "DENSE/OVER CROWDED and or NOISEY, I do much better sinking a drum, as for me, I have developed an EPICUREAN TASTE FOR MUSIC, and I can't stand DISSONANCE/UNPLEASANT SOUNDS, " I know what Vidia Naipaul mean't when he wrote in his book about the Caribbean entitled The Middle Passage, Naipaul contends that Trinidadians love noise, I tend to agree with him ..."

Patrick; Y do U even bother ??? it's  a total waste of time, do U remember in 2011 when "Boogsie" did a tune called "DO SOMETHING FOR PAN" Keith Diaz and the PanTrinbago regime wanted to ban it, and Phase II tied for fourth place with I believe "Invaders", untill Act no 5 of 1986 is repealed or eradicated, the abuse of panmen/women and their redress/money/millions will continue...

Patrick; the Pantrinbago regime, is implementing more interest on the proceeds/profit, to satisfy their greed, do U have any idea how much money that was alloted to Pantrinbago, by the Government each year ? somewhere between $27, to $34,5 million TT dollars, they also take 10 % from every registered band, single, small, medium, and large, plus redress from the GREEN, the band's do not receive half of that $27 million, do the math...

Yes Patrick; I made some for Carnival 2011 that North stars West side Millinnium Steel Opus used, to help win the St James J"ouvet Bomb competition with "Boogsie Sharpe Do Something for Pan", I still have them, as well as the last (3) three pairs of double seconds that Anthony Williams tuned in 1976, that was in the "Princess Building" when it burned down, but they were in a room that was not touched by the fire, I fined tuned or modulated them as they were never used before, they still have the BEST TONE EVER...

Hello there mr patrick my point of view as a self developed pan maker, tuner, not a professional as those from T& T,  had voiced my opinion which i do think everyone has to,relevant to the introduction of the steelpan and  the reason reason for it,s invention, i had read an article from pantrinbago about 7 months ago when  bertie marshall was honoured, i did surf until i found what i was lookin for ,,nevertheless that was months ago,,now as a panman and a mean i do play any pan,,not a professional, music is an international language,, i mentioned this a few days ago,,music has no indians,,no negroes,,no chinese  no germans or whatever,,whenever it is played its written in one language,,,notes,,treble clef,,,bass clef,,, etc, note for note  tone for tone,, i,m originally from guyana living abroad,,whatever  i do subcribe to on panonthe net is for the steelband to last forever,,for it,s a strange instrument that is a wonder for many, god bless.

Madman died some years ago his name was Aldwyn Jordan. If you heard a band while walking down Charlotte or George streets that sounded like Tripoli you may right, when we returned to Trinidad in 1972 we rehearsed for a while at the Blue Diamonds Pan Yard in the old Market, as you may know Tripoli and Blue Diamonds had a close very relationship, my brother was the Captian
then and still is.
