"Hooked" at the Pan Festival in Conway New Hampshire 2009

Every year a Steel Drum Pan Festival is held in New England and every year there is a mass piece that is played by many bands. This year, the Pan Festival was held in the Ham Arena in Conway New Hampshire and the mass piece that was play is a song called "Hooked" originally written and sung by M Loquan, K. Philmore, and Destra Garcia and the arranger of this mass piece is Eric Rollnick. In this video you will see about four and a half bands playing. While other bands also played, some decided to take their own twist on the song and revise it to suit their bands. The four and a half bands playing here are Steelin' Thunder, Vermont Pan Handlers, Tinpanic, Western Maine Trash Can Band, and half of Steel Dreams.

My husband is from Maine. Good music in a beautiful area.  We had no idea that this is an annual event in New England, and that this year it's being held in Maine.   We will try to make it next year and show them some "moves". LOL
