This video of Southern Marines at the small band prelims has better audio than the first, and this IMHO is definitely a winner , folks!Thee old home town band Southern Marines delivers with this rousing arrangement of Trevor Barrow's "Trinbago yuh Sweet for so"The arrangement is by Akinola Sennon. and the band is led by Malomo Joseph (Scobie's son) and "De Foundation"(They seem to be having some problems with the camera lens filters, but the audio is great)

  • Southern Marines....your music is improving every year and I thought that this was one of the best arrangements i have heard so far...the Clarity was really great.the tempo excellent....i don't know what more the Judges want!!

Congratulations to a job well done.

  • I love this.

  • Southern Marines made these videos available to the public using faceBook, you tube etc.

    We just embedded them.

I don't know how they did it, or how they got the video, but whatever they did the other bands should also be doing.

According to the band, the first version was done by the band, and the second was professionally done.

if i find any videos from any band posted anywhere, I'll immediately post them, and I'm sure WST will do the same.

  • Just saw prelim results.........BJ and Arima Golden Symphony miles infront of any competetors in the small category. Just wondering why there are no videos of this band???????

  • Sounds Great....Golden Hands to me is the front-runner right now.

  • Nice big band sound

  • Nice !  Thanks Glenroy for sending this better audio version.  Much appreciated.

  • more people in Europe should have steel band music made available as it stops anyone from being depressed!!x
