Many consider Scrunter's "Woman on the Bass", their 1980 Panorama winner, to be All Stars' signature Panorama piece.Here it is performed at 1999 concert celebrating "The Panorama Champions of the Twentieth Century".This was the first of several Panorama winning arrangements by Mr. Leon "Smooth" Edwards.

Classic All Stars with Smooth and Scrunter in tow. This has been my fave all time composition, arrangement and performance by a steelband for Panorama, ever since I first heard it in TnT, period. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=23KzZgSM9yY

You know, I was thinking about all these proponents extolling the virtues of certain "foreign/expat" arrangements. If that was the "norm" for Panorama and the likes of "Smooth, Boogsie, Ray, Jit, Bradley or any of the Champion Arrangers were to be done for the same competition, Lord help PoS, because there would have been "thunder" in the place as they called upon the authorities to check their passports to see if they had arrived from another planet out there in space, ent...

I DISAGREE WITH THAT! WERE U @ PANORAMA FINALS 1982 OR 1983. U LIKE TO HEAR MONOTONOUS AND REPITOUS MUSIC, SMOOTH DIDN'T HAD MUCH TO DO.

The Greatest Panorama Arrangement of all time. The reaction every single time this tune is played by All Stars is consistently phenomenal. No other arrangement by any band can claim to do that. Simple, sweet, effective, this is Panorama music at its pinnacle.
